Terms of Service

Before launch — to be confirmed: the operator's legal identity, the governing law and courts, and any dispute-resolution terms. This draft uses "Safpic" as a placeholder for the operator.

These terms are an agreement between you and Safpic ("Safpic", "we", "us") about your use of the Safpic app and website. By using Safpic, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Safpic.

1. Who can use Safpic

You must be at least 18 years old to use Safpic. By using it, you confirm that you are.

2. Your account

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your device and sign-in secure. Please keep your recovery passphrase safe — because of how our encryption works, we cannot recover it for you if you lose it.

3. Acceptable use

Safpic is built to protect private moments between consenting adults. You agree not to use Safpic to:

share images of any person without their consent, or share intimate images of another person without their clear permission;
create, share or request any content involving minors — we have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material and will report it to the authorities;
harass, threaten, impersonate or harm others;
break the law, or use Safpic for anything illegal;
attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or abuse the service or its security.

Serious or repeated violations can result in your account being suspended or removed.

4. Your content

Your content is yours. You keep all rights to the photos and messages you create. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the service for you — for example, to store and deliver your encrypted content to the people you choose. We don't claim ownership of it, and we don't use your private content to train advertising or unrelated products.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. By using Safpic you also agree to it.

6. The service is provided "as is"

We work hard to keep Safpic reliable and secure, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Safpic is provided "as is" without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it.

7. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or that we must act on for legal or safety reasons.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as Safpic evolves. We'll revise the date above and, where changes are significant, let you know in the app.

9. Governing law

Before launch — to be confirmed: the governing law and the courts that will handle any dispute (assumed India for now, to be finalised with legal advice).
